Our Story
We started Astra because we kept hearing the same story from property owners: they'd sign with a manager at one rate and end up paying twice that once all the fees were added up. Lease-up fees. Renewal fees. Inspection fees. Maintenance markups. It never ended.
We're Central Iowa locals. We know the communities, the rental market, and the people here. We built Astra around the promise that we'd charge one fair rate — 7% of monthly rent — and include everything. No asterisks, no fine print.
Our clients know exactly what they're paying on day one, and they know their money will arrive in their account every last Friday of the month. That's not a guarantee most property managers make. It's the only one we care about.
